Nicole Simone Henton was born on 1 May 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Henton has recorded five studio albums and one compilation album.
Henton started her music career in the early 1990s as the lead singer of the Philadelphia soul group The Darlings. In 1993, she produced her debut solo album, ‘I’m Your Angel’. The album reached number forty on the Billboard 200 chart and had two singles, ‘At Last’ and ‘The Boy Is Mine. I’m Your Angel was followed by a second solo album, Soul Food, released in 1995. The album reached number thirty on the Billboard 200 chart and produced two singles, “Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)” and “Dollars and Sense”.
In 1998, Henton starred in the independent film “Philadelphia”, which won the NAACP Image Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture. In the same year, she released her third solo album, ‘Human Nature. The album reached number forty-six on the Billboard 200 chart and earned Henton the following honours.

Unfortunately, in September 2000, he was involved in a terrible car accident that damaged his left eye socket, leg, teeth and stomach. The accident severely damaged the actor’s face, but significant plastic surgery restored much of his facial appearance.
Although Henton now lives in Los Angeles, he will always consider Cleveland his home. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter, Nicole Simone Henton. He is currently honing his golfing talent.
